VIDEO (VHS)  TO DVD CONVERSION

  • One VHS tape (tapes used in video recorders) to DVD up to 1 hr  - $15

  • One VHS tape to DVD up to 2 hr - $19

  • One VHS tape to DVD up to 3 hr - $25 

  • One VHS-c  (video camera tape)  to DVD  - $25

  • One Mini DV tape to DVD  - $25

  • One Super 8 tape  to DVD  - $25

  • To put two (or more) tapes on one DVD - individual price plus 10%

   OLD RECORDS (LPs, VINYL) TRANSFERRED TO CD

  • One record to CD (all songs separate, no cover) $29 each

  • To make cover - $10

 OLD MOVIES (8 mm, Super 8) TO DVD

  • Minimum charge $90  (includes 3 'small' reels or one 'big' reel all up to 9 minutes)

  • Every  extra reel (or cut)  is $5   plus   $2.50 per minute of the final video

  • Background music  $0.50 p /min

  • We use Verbatim archiving grade DVDs (100+ years)

 DVD/CD DUPLICATION

  • One copy - $5

  • 2 to 9 copies from same DVD/CD - $3 each

  • 10  or more copies from same DVD/CD - $2 each

  • Label printing is extra $5 (for first copy) and then $1 per DVD/CD

  • Cover design is extra $10 (for first copy, no pictures) and then $1 per cover

  • Packing - paper sleeve case

 VIDEO TAPES CONVERSION (American, Japanese, Russian etc  to Australian format)

  • Australian format (PAL) to American format (NTSC) up to 3 hr $25 each

  • American format (NTSC) to Australian format (PAL) up to 3 hr $25 each

  • 8 mm cassette (from camera) to "big" tape (VHS) $25 each 

  • To put two video tapes on one tape - normal price (2 x $25) plus $5 = $55

  • Labels printing 20% extra

VIDEO TAPES DUPLICATION (VHS and VHS-c tapes from camera)

  • 1 copy (up to 3 hr) $15 

  • 2 or more copies from same original (up to 3 hr) $12 each

  • To put two video tapes on one tape - normal price (2 x $15) plus $5 = $35

  • Labels printing $10 for first tape + $1 for subsequent tapes

DVD REGIONS

Movies from Region 1 (USA & Canada) WILL NOT play on a DVD player regions 2-6. Effectively Region 1 discs play only on Region 1 DVD players, Region 2 discs play only on Region 2 DVD players and so on.

MACROVISION

Macrovision is a form of copyguard protection encoded into DVD discs that prevents people from making illegal copies. A standard DVD player contains a special Macrovision-enabled digital-analog conver chip that is activated when a DVD is played. The activated chip applies copy protection to the analog output and causes copies made on most VCRs to be substantially degraded.
